Is there a minimum number of trading days or a time limit?
No. There is no minimum number of trading days and no time limit. You can pass in a day or a month, in one trade or a hundred. Only two things end a phase: reaching the target with every position closed, or a breach. See Targets and splits.
What are the loss limits?
A daily loss limit and a max drawdown. Both are measured on equity: your balance plus the profit or loss on open positions. Each plan sets its own, as daily / max drawdown: Arena | 1-Step 3% / 6%, Gauntlet | 1-Step 3% / 5%, Hyper | 1-Step 3% / 3%. Breaching either fails the account. See Equity-based limits.
What happens when I pass?
You pass the moment your equity, after the fees to close every position, reaches the target. You do not have to close anything. We close your positions for you, and the closing price never reverses a pass. If you close them yourself, you pass when every position is closed and your realized balance is at the target. Arena | 1-Step, Gauntlet | 1-Step, and Hyper | 1-Step then move you to a funded account, unless the pass is held for a review. Your funded account is a new account at your account size. Your passed challenge stays in your account list, read-only. See How it works.
How do payouts work?
Close every position on the funded account, then request a payout in USDC to a saved wallet. A payout shares the realized profit above your high-water mark: your closed trades after fees, plus the funding your positions paid and received. You can have one open request per account. When the payout is paid, the balance returns to its start and the high-water mark carries across, so the same profit is never paid twice. See Payouts and withdrawals.
Are evaluation fees refundable?
No. Evaluation fees are a one-time charge and are fully non-refundable, with no exceptions. That includes an account that failed, was closed, was ineligible or was never used. See Fees and payments in the Terms.
